the holiday season is upon us once more...john and i have been working with 11 other shop/gallery owners in Northwood to plan a shop hop. the event is happening over thanksgiving weekend...shoppers purchase a "passport" that comes in a nifty canvas shopping tote...the passport is filled with money saving coupons...visit each shop, have your passport stamped and at the last shop receive a VERY nice wooden ornament that is handcrafted locally.
Many of the shops have special events planned for the weekend...lucky visitors may have the opportunity to see pottery demos.
This is such a pleasant alternative to heading to the mall! ...and wouldn't everyone love a nice piece of handmade pottery or other locally made gift under their tree?
