i am planning a surprise... :-)

as you all know, jeff does most of the cooking around here. today he is in wolfeboro at sally cornwell's studio doing a raku workshop. of course it is cold and rainy here in northwood and this morning sally said there was an inch of snow in wolfeboro!  i told jeff not to worry about dinner tonight, i would have something ready and warm when he came home.
i decided to surprise him and make something special.  i went through my recipe box, did a few online searches... i think i have a menu chosen.  of course some of it hinges on weather the local grocery store has what i need!
