King snakes eat them, so be kind to the kings if you see them. I'm a big fan of the natural order of things.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3116910306520528915.post-13615962037485656622011-07-01T08:27:54.509-04:002011-07-01T08:27:54.509-04:00We chopped a couple of those in half last month. I really do NOT like seeing snakes crawling around. When Wes was little she loved snakes and I took her to the petting zoo in Greensboro a lot so she could hold them. Gave me a better appreciation of them but I still don't like them in my yard!!Tracey Broomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560971496423789576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3116910306520528915.post-45250777464337205472011-07-01T08:19:40.865-04:002011-07-01T08:19:40.865-04:00Yikes!! When we lived in Arkansas we saw our dog jump straight up in the air when he encountered a copperhead, I guess animals have a sixth sense when faced with certain possible dangers. Here's my post about a baby rattle snake in California (no rattles yet) so you can see what they look like, and he was very aggressive

http://bluestarrgallery.blogspot.com/2008/10/arent-babies-cute-some-anyway.htmlLinda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.com
