Classic Cars vs Pottery

i have a flickr account with many photos of pots and other ceramic related things... there is a little counter on each photo that lets you know how many times each picture has been viewed. the pottery related pics have been viewed between 10 and 39 times to date.
i also posted a picture of my beloved 1967 ragtop Camaro...THAT picture has been viewed 282 times since it was posted!!!!! guess there are a lot more Camaro lovers than pottery lovers out there. here is the winning pic:

she has a bored out 327 engine and a muncie rock crusher transmission...she sure is a beauty :-)

etsy surfing

i have been spending too much time surfing etsy this winter...i have contemplated setting up a shop but struggle with the low pricing on most of the pottery. yes... there is a lot of junk but there are also some very nice pots at prices that are way too low. i don't want to give my work away but how can i compete with someone who is willing to do just that?
i suppose i could give it a try and see what happens...it's not like it is a big investment to post some work.
i think i will sleep on it some more........
