the artist reception at Kimball-Jenkins was a huge success! there was a great turn out and lots of amazing work to see. the event was so crowded that i wasn't able to really get a good look at all the pots and sculpture...it was too crowded to take pictures to post as well. i am planning to go back on a weekday with my camera and tripod and hopefully get some good shots to post here on the blog.
last night awards were presented by juror Mary Barringer, potter and editor of Studio Potter magazine. John Z's and Jane Kaufmann's collaborative story piece won an award! i know that he was smiling down on all of us last night.
...and i can't forget to mention that the food was DEELICIOUS! thank you to our potter/chef rebecca.
