Where does the time go?


Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby girl!

Who has grown up to be a beautiful young woman...

thirty something :-)

I think this may be the first time we haven't gotten together to celebrate her birthday, either on the day of or close to it. She is the one thing I miss about living in New England.

    I think New England ought to move down a few states, maybe just south of New Jersey! I can't believe I have been here 14 years now.

    Maybe you could do a little virtual celebrating together using something like FaceTime or Skype.

    I love the hat photo! I took it last year when we were walking through the Yale campus. With the furry hat and those old buildings, she looks like a young lady in Russia.
    We chatted on the phone last night before she went out to celebrate... I think not being there on her b-day is harder than not being together at Christmas.
