Life can turn on a dime...

I took Jeff to the airport yesterday and he is now in S. Korea. I came home and booked a flight to NH. My sister Anita's husband passed away unexpectedly and I want to be there for her and their three girls. I will always remember how much Steve loved to be on the water (that's him, on the far right). Whether it be cruising Lake Winnipesaukee in his own boat, or renting one when our families would meet in Naples, FL to escape the long New Hampshire winter.
Steve was always the captain.
We will miss you.

a day in the sun

john and i spent saturday at the league of nh craftsmen shop in meredith...john was invited to do a pottery demo on the deck outside of the shop...

Meredith is located on Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in NH. The water front is directly behind the shop...unfortunately the temperature on the deck where we were set up approached 100 degrees by mid-afternoon...we quit early and took a leisurely drive around the lake and visited my sister and her family in Wolfeboro before heading home. Despite the intense heat it was a nice break from the sometimes isolating work in the studio.
