one year

it was one year ago this weekend that john's family, closest friends, and i traveled to assateague national seashore to scatter his ashes.  today my thoughts drift back to that weekend. the weather was beautiful, we walked the beach and enjoyed a nice meal together in the evening.  you can read about it here.

john's "kids" as he use to say... i miss listening to him play, i miss seeing them in their stands in the living-room.  i have a feeling that where ever he is now, he is playing everyday with a whole bunch of great musicians... ROCK ON JZ!!!
