Still not a fan of beer in a ceramic tumbler, but some sweet iced tea would be fantastic in one of those! Mark Hewitt markets his tumblers around here as his ice tea tumblers, I think tea just tastes better in a nice hand made clay cup. I do have a certain mug that likes beer though :)
Tracey, I don't drink iced tea but we do have a couple of Hewitt's iced tea tumblers. Jeff uses them for both tea and beer. When it's really hot out, I prefer an ice cold beer right from the bottle!
The tumblers are downright seductive! I'm not a beer drinker, but Proge prefers glass for beer. Sometimes when it's hot he uses a mug. I drink a lot of iced tea and frozen chai lattes which are wonderful in tall drink mugs or steins.
I would totally drink my beer out of one of those tumblers. I actually do prefer to drink beer from a ceramic tumbler or stein. I think it keeps the temperature consistent longer plus it doesn't let in the light which isn't good for beer. Yes, I'm a beer snob.
I welcome and appreciate comments. Lately I have had a lot of spam and therefore have had to turn on word verification as well as comment moderation for posts older than 14 days.

ReplyDeleteactually, flowers could look good in them too :)
