Jeff's Gone Bananas


Jeff has been working on a commission for the Chiquita Classic, a golf tournament in Davidson, NC. These trophy vases are quite large, and thrown in two pieces. He hand carved the logo on each one... he has a steadier hand than I do!

He has a little more work to do on the face detail, and then he will apply blue slip to the logo. I really admire Jeff for taking on this commission, I would have run the other way!

    These look great. I doubt I could break 200 in golf so I won't be owning one. Give us another look after firing.

    These are pretty amazing, but it's to be expected with Jeff's talent!

    ...AND... now it's time to glaze them. The Bisque kiln has cooled down, and if I can get them in the kiln before too late I'll get'em fired tonight.
