When these shoes came out of the box the first thing Jeff said was, "They look like they are slip trailed". I bought these Dansko's to wear in the studio. They are a man made material, water proof, and can be washed off. The thick sole will be good for standing on a concrete floor. I do have a rubber mat that I stand on but the more space between my feet and the concrete, the better my back will feel at the end of the day. The only thing is, they are almost too pretty to get covered in clay!
