Welcome to 2014

It always feels good to hang the calendar on the fridge. It's like a clean slate for a new year. Last year I forgot to get a calendar and didn't get around to it until half way through January. The plus side was that they were all on sale. The down side was, the theme selection was limited to cars and The Wizard of Oz. I of course opted for Oz. This year our friend Phil, from Old Gap Pottery brought us a calendar from our favorite international grocer, Super G Mart.

Jeff and I rung in the New Year here at home, with a few friends. Our special guest was Rhys, Bonnie and David's corgi. Isn't he the cutest thing? I have always said that if I ever get another dog it will be a corgi. Doubtful that I will have a dog again, in the meantime I can live vicariously through Bonnie and David.

  1. Cute and they will herd anything that moves. If people linger too long in the gallery without buying anything you can train a corgi to herd them back to their cars.

  2. lovely dog. Corgis are cattle herders-low slung so that a sly kick will whistle past the ears!!
